Alex and I have an accidental collection... Actually two accidental collections that somehow merged together... accidentally. We have a thing for animal statues, and a thing for cacti. It just so happened that all of them ended up in this window in our living room. It's quite a cheery little space in our home.
This deer planter sat empty for about 3 years. I would sometimes buy succulents to put in her back, but they wouldn't fit, or I would forget to put them in and they would die. My friend Natalie gave me this little succulent for my birthday, and it was the perfect fit for this little lady. I was very happy.
The raccoon was just something we saw at the thrift store and couldn't pass up. It's just so creepy-cute.
